Ha! Gotcha didn't I?

Want to know a secret about your Sales Diva?

I am an obsessed bibliophile who can devour books almost as quickly as I can inhale chocolate!

I looooooooooooooooove words. And so as a customer - I appreciate anything that appeals to my inner "climb into a tree with my book" spirit. (Spent most of my childhood perched in a gnarled old tree with a book ...as my family will gladly tell you!)

Well - my most recent adventure into Starbucks confirmed to me why the Starbucks franchise is brilliant.

For the first time ever - Starbucks has aligned themselves with a movie called "Akeelah and The Bee" It is a movie being released at the end of this month and is already receiving rave reviews.

So What Did Starbucks Do That Thrilled Me?

They have these really cool boxes with unusual words - and you are encouraged to take one. I closed my eyes and dove in - and pulled Eudaemonic - which means: producing happiness.

I tucked that sparkling word into my Diva purse and brain as I walked to meet some of my fabulous clients at a spa. It doesn't get much more “Eudaemonic" than that!

As we were drinking coffee and getting our toes painted - I shared the word with them. One of the ladies said to me “Kim, that is absolutely what you do for your customers - you produce happiness."

Wow. Now she was eudaemonic! (It's catchy!)

How Are You Producing Happiness For Your Customers?

Hmm. I bet you are probably busy - just trying to keep the balls in the air.

Maybe you’re thinking “Producing Happiness? I am giving my customers exactly what they asked for - I don't need to worry about producing happiness for them!!!"

Oh yesssssssss you do Girl. If you aren't - then you are heading down the slippery slope called AVERAGE. And your customers aren't seeking the AVERAGE experience - they are seeking the one that delights them!

Here's a BIG Sales Diva Secret On How To Be "Eudaemonic" With Your Customers!

Challenge yourself each month with this question.

“What have I done recently for my customers that is a little unconventional, a little bit of a surprise, a little delightful?"

Because remember - little things can make for a very large DELIGHTFUL experience!
If your brain comes up empty - or with the same old - same old - then you need to eat some sugar/or anything else equally inspiring and think of some quirky and value-filled ideas for your customers. NOW.

As for me? I won't be in a tree...but I will be somewhere thinking of the next, best, cool, snazzy thing I can offer to my customers that will brand The Sales Diva experience into their minds forever!

The Eudaemonic Diva. That's me! And I Diva-Dare for it to be YOU! (Fire me an e-mail and let me know what you dreamed up after you read the article This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it )
