Talia Mana

The Centre for Emotional Well-Being was founded by Talia Mana. Talia has a varied background in marketing, finance, strategy and general management. Since 1995, she has managed her own consulting business as well as writing books and inspiring people through her training and motivational talks and insights into personality and behaviour modification.

At the age of 25 she was a senior executive in Fletcher Challenge, a Fortune 500 company, and the first woman to venture into management in the male-dominated world of concrete in New Zealand. Two years later she joined the Board of the Cement and Concrete Association and as Chief Executive spearheaded change in the industry.

In 1995 an entrepreneurial spark took hold and she created and invented Mobile Mastermind, a fun game for children to play while travelling. Mobile Mastermind was successfully sold throughout schools, libraries and retail shops throughout New Zealand. This became the springboard for Talia to launch her current business helping individuals and companies achieve and exceed their goals and desires.

Talia has a Bachelor of Commerce, a Diploma in Psychology and a Bachelor of Applied Science. She is also a member of the Professional Speakers Association. She has won awards for speaking, as well as in business. During 2002 she was the Money Adviser for TV's Good Morning Show - a role she greatly enjoyed.

Talia has maintained a link with business through consulting to large and small firms alike as well as undertaking individual coaching of people from such diverse professions as teaching, general management, marketing and entrepreneurship. Talia has been the Marketing & Strategic Manager for a company with turnover exceeding $100 million, the National Manager for a division of New Zealand's largest company, has written two books and is a popular motivational speaker. Talia is frequently quoted in leading media, including New Zealand's largest daily newspaper.
