Why Don't Your Prospects Want to Talk to You?
We spend a significant amount of our sales and marketing effort on filling the pipeline with prospects and following up with them. With a full pipeline and consistent follow-up, you are bound to make plenty of sales, right? Well, much of the time that's true. Kevin Neufeld has an extensive background in sales and management beginning with 5 years in the fitness industry. His communication and people skills were consistently being put to the test as he managed a health club in Victoria, BC with a staff of 50 and over 5000 members. Members often described Kevin as the heart and soul of the club as he was instrumental in increasing the membership by 50% every year he led the sales team. Kevin's experience in fitness goes greatly beyond the health club however. He graduated from the University of Victoria in 1988 with a BA in Human Performance and numerous academic and athletic awards. When Kevin talks on motivation and commitment he knows of what he speaks. Kevin was a member of the Canadian National Rowing Team for 7 years and has competed in several Worlds Championship regattas as well as the Olympic Games in 1984 and 1988. The pinnacle of his athletic career came at the Los Angeles Olympics where he won a Gold Medal for Canada in the Men's Eight. Kevin left his management position at the health club to begin his own marketing and sales consulting company. For the past 10 years, Kevin has been training and coaching sales and management performance with many of the largest Credit Unions and Automotive Dealerships in the country. He has recently returned from a 2 ½ year hiatus that saw him leading a team of six divisional managers and their staff in the high tech software industry. The experiences he has gained from being “back in the trenches” and responsible for multi-million dollar revenue targets have only served to enhance his ability to assist his clients reach new levels of success. Time away from work will find Kevin and his wife Connie raising their sons: Matthew, and "the twins" - Kai and Travis. Because of their love of the outdoors and active lifestyle, they have chosen to make Victoria, BC their home. |
